Ralph Perdue began working in packing house machinery at the age of 19. After more than 10 years working within all areas of a citrus packing house and 10 years of providing service to houses all over the United States, Canada, and the Dominican Republic, Ralph Perdue founded RGP & Company, Inc. in July of 2008, with little more than the desire to be an asset to his customers and to provide them with the service they had come to know him for. With the support of his family and a LOT of elbow grease, RGP & Company has outgrown the small backyard shed it started in and has become the company you see before you today. As a truly family-owned business, Ralph was joined in time by his wife Brenda, their brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, and eventually their daughter as well. All of whom have played their own role in growing and developing the company along the way.
Over the years, Ralph and Brenda have not only strived to support their customers but also the community of Auburndale, FL which RGP & Company was founded in. The RGP logo has been spotted on countless team shirts, hanging on the back fences of many local ball leagues, and at just about any school or club fundraising event that a niece or nephew asked them to be a part of. Their commitment goes far beyond sponsorships, however. On many occasions they’ve given up what little free time they had to volunteer for local non-profit organizations, chaperone school dances, and even giving up precious warehouse space for students from Auburndale High School to build their homecoming float.
Now celebrating 15 years of hard, honest work, RGP & Company eagerly looks forward to what we can accomplish together in the next 15 years.
